French Wine Shortage -- Shopping for Alternatives?

In France, unseasonably low Spring temperatures have resulted in widespread frost damage to grape crops. Unfortunately for the farmers, this could snap could result in the lowest crop yield in over four decades. Several nights of overnight frost has destroyed grape harvests, with many French farmers lighting small fires in an attempt to keep the nearby grapes from freezing overnight. The damage has been seen in regions like Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Rhone, and estimates say that 20-50% of the grape harvest may be lost. The French government is readying an aid package to assist the impacted farmers.
